thread starts here: https://lemmy.ml/post/46418763/25369882

Kicks off with just racist propaganda:

The education is also non-competitive and crippling for the not-so-gifted students, yes?

Because I don’t hear about many student suicides (specifically due to stress and pressure) outside of the Asian countries.

Ends with this:

Thanks for providing the requested chart.

Side note: Jesus christ are you all zealots for china. Please get your dick inside back in your trousers If you like the country so much, I hope you are on the way to move there…

Correcting misconceptions and racist propaganda gets the most lazy insult response.

That's what I have seen and experienced (so far).
And right now the whole thread under my first comment to me reads like the whole chinese/sino version of the opposing propaganda.

it's perfectly ok to be neutral about something if you don't know enough to be sure that what you've heard is just generated by vibes.

This (to me) is the most level headed suggestion anyone here has given me so far (thank you for staying civil)

Cheers :)

You haven't actually said any things or experiences.

And right now the whole thread under my first comment to me reads like the whole chinese/sino version of the opposing propaganda.

I personally don't know how you can possibly think that one is going to be comparable to the other. Among the 248 armed conflicts that occurred in 153 regions across the world from 1945 to 2001, 201 were initiated by the US, accounting for 81% of the total number.

I don't know what the numbers are up to 2026, but the Chinese side for that period remains ZERO.

What is it that you are using to determine that they must be comparable in your head? What material real events on the Chinese side amount to something larger than the monstrosity of US historical atrocities. Even just considering total prison populations is wild, the US holds 21% of the world's prison population while China holds 15%, despite China having 1.6billion population to the US' 350million. Westerners (particularly americans) know this and somehow have it in their heads that China is more "authoritarian" because they are the most propagandised and vibes-based people on the planet.
