After this section of road land-slid a while back, the local authorities just paved the road again in its original spot, and left this intact. I think it might actually keep a reoccurrence from happening.

You gotta remember that OR was where a local city thought the way to get rid of a dead whale on their beach was to blow it up with dynamite. Left cars in the parking lot crushed by 1000lb chucks of whale blubber. Imagine filing that insurance claim. Anyway, this is just their grandkids keeping up the same tradition of mediocrity.

To be fair, that is an efficient way to get rid of it. They fucked up by not using the spec'd amount of TNT. Yes, there is a spec for that.
