Not really. Vivid Christian depictions of Hell existed long before Dante's Inferno was ever written, centuries of established history. Dante was Christian and Catholic, you're embarrassing yourself.
You are 100% wrong. Your source, "The Brazen Church" at Medium, is absolute apologist garbage, with no citations or footnotes, totally worthless, with many false claims without any historical basis. Note that your source ignores all of the descriptions of Hell, and instead focuses on only the translation of one word (Hell).
It is clearly described as a place of eternal torment, repeatedly, with vivid descriptions (whatever you'd like to call it).
Re Jews, they are another matter, they have differing beliefs than Christians. Satan was not an "advocate" per the Bible. I never claimed that Hell was Jewish, so try and stay focused.
Lastly, it's not my religion.
Now, please stop spreading misinformation that you've learned from Medium, it's a tragedy.
You are obviously no theologian so I will have to pass on your interpretations. The fact that you can't even admit that pagan depictions of hell were adopted by Christians is fucking bizarre.
Having attended many different Christian denominations in my life I can tell you the baptist are the only ones to talk about about hellfire and brimstone to any degree.

The fact that you deny fiction is the source of most of what people would consider hell is very telling. Not even mentioned in the Old Testament, but somehow saying the prince of peace conjured the eternal fires of tormented souls makes me doubt you even have a basic understanding of his teachings.
Now please stop denying history with your unsourced feeble attempts to prove that the devil and hell were not concepts borrowed from other religions including paganism.
Christianity itself is an amalgamation of many different religions before and during its formation. I am not sure what you gain by denying reality. Maybe it is your thing, cheers!
