Given cars are becoming more and more like modern computers and most people have some preference of what side of the wheel the indicator is on: It's surprising that manufacturers don't allow changing the stalk side via software setting

...Why on earth would you want to allow modifying a standard configuration that has been engrained into muscle memory? I've never driven a car where the blinker and windshield wiper stalks were inverted, and I'd prefer it to remain that way.

I hate having to switch between the two. Would rather leave it to muscle memory
