Wasn’t there the case of that “AI startup” that was literally just outsourcing to a call centre in India? Literally Actually Indians

No I'm commenting on the African labour that has gone into the annotation of the training data used to train on LLMs, and also on the use of Indian labour to babysit these systems with mechanical turks, etc.

If the ai around us if half as decent as it is right now it's cause of their unappreciated and under paid labour.
