The comments on the Scripta blog — written under the username "riikka" — include multiple uses of the Finnish equivalent of the n-word as well as other racial slurs, anti-immigrant rhetoric and apparent threats of violence. The texts use racist expressions such as "mocha dicks" and "Turkish monkeys".

On 25 August 2008, "riikka" wrote: "Greetings from Barcelona. There is no "alarming immigration problem" to be seen here. N-word sell pirated Vuittons on Las Ramblas, scarves are hidden and each stays with their own."

On 25 September 2008, "riikka" wrote about a confrontation on a train with young people from an immigrant background, saying "If they gave me a gun, there'd be bodies on a commuter train, you see."

Didn't Finland's economy minister say the exact same thing a day before he resigned over his nazi remarks? And that just happened like a week ago?

Yes. Vilhelm Junnila resigned from the minister role (still in the party). Replaced by Wille Rydman, known for grooming underage girls and racist views. Then the interior minister Mari Rantanen deleted her blog posts about the great replacement conspiracy theory. And now we have this

It's kind of a 50:50 on does the cabinet get to do their overall quite panned and harmful plans, or do they waste everyone's time with these scandals.

If the choice is between stagnation and backsliding, it seems like backsliding is worse. That being said, sometimes things aren't so linear I guess.
