I'm trying to be careful.

I have the bathroom closed off, window open, ceiling fan on.

I'm wearing an N95 mask, safety glasses, gloves, washing my clothes separately. Not letting my kid near me until after a shower. I take a shower right after working.

I'm wiping my glasses and phone with alcohol after working.

I put molded material in plastic bag and threw it in the trash can immediately after working.

I'm trying to move faster, so things aren't just sitting in the open. I've removed most of it now.

Did I miss anything? Anything else I should be doing? πŸ€”

(Yes, that insulation is wet. I need to remove it as well.)

What was the source of the leak? It’s been fixed, right?

Yeah, I believe I've removed the leak... see the plastic bag to the left? That's where a toilet used to be. I'm fairly certain the toilet was leaking... for months... (and I'm an idiot who didn't associate the smell with mold). The leak made it into the adjacent closet.

Phase one: Remove drywall, carpet, tile. Remediate the mold.

Phase two: Install a new toilet (I didn't install the previous one.)

The old toilet had a blackened... hardened wax ring. Anyway, that's a whole different project. Focusing on the mold for now.
