Is this just something I have to eat frequently enough to get a developed sense of taste?

I don't really seek out avocado but whenever it gets offered I always give it a shot cause people apparently think it's one of the best but like I feel like I'm missing the right taste receptors.

To me it tastes like eating something between soft tofu and room temp butter with the flavor of butter that zipped past.

Maybe it's just me? If you like or love avocado that's totally fair. I just feel like it's not doing anything for meπŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I never liked avocado or guacamole until I vacationed in Mexico. A freshly ripened avocado is significantly tastier than what you'll find in the average grocery store.

...I still don't like fish.
