The United States of America already won the war. The Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline is not being used and EU countries imposed many sanctions on Russia.

What USA economists feared was a Russia Germany tandem that used Russian energy and German technology.

And now Germany suffers because it can't access Russian energy. Win/Win for the US.

I think that's a short-term victory, though. In the long run this will drive the EU away from the US.
