The US government has done so much to make people not want to have children it isn't funny.

Everything from the War on Drugs to the gutting of the middle class has lead to this drop. Lack of affordable healthcare and sub par and overly expensive education adds to this problem as well.

Not to mention environmental things like poisoning every human being on Earth with forever chemicals and plastics. They have truly created a world where you would be crazy to want to create new human beings in.

Now with AI and robotics we are poised to eliminate a lot of manual labor and human thinking. Where does having lots of children fit into this equation?
