Abram does it once in Egypt saying, "Say you are my sister, for you are beautiful and if you say you are my wife, they will kill me." There's no explicit language stating that Pharaoh took her to bed, but it could be inferred, in light of the following text.

Then Abraham does the same shit with Sarah at Gerar. There it is explicitly stated Abimelech does not take her, and is given 1000 pieces of silver (to the brother) during the exchange.

So weird to obscure that story in such a way. It's okay to not know things. If you didn't know, no need to respond. If you did know, then why lie?
