As much as I like seeing people publicly reject PP, I'm not thrilled at having someone with her regressive social policy history in government.
This is the biggest problem I have with her floor crossing. She's not just a Conservative, but she holds very conservative personal views based on her faith. Agree with her or not, she's not just hypocritical in jumping ship from her Conservative supporters, but she now has to vote with the party against things she has vehemently believed and supported her entire life and supposedly holds as intrinsic, fundamental values. She's the most blatant example of 'selling your soul to the devil' in modern Canadian history.
