I think the real science is that there are a bunch of bible thumpers that don't want people to have any fun, and greedy rich people who want slave labor provided by prisons. Fucking gross. I don't give two shits if it helps or not. Stop wasting money to incarcerate people for nonsense and stop enriching sociopaths.
