Okay, and Tylenol doesn't cure a headache. It does help deal with the symptoms though. Cannabis absolutely helps take the edge off of anxiety and depression for me when used occasionally. It doesn't cure the issue but it doesn't mean it's not helpful to take the edge off while I work on more permanent solutions to my problem. Imagine if the only meds on the market were things that completely cure a problem as opposed to just helping someone get through it while they heal or work other solutions. Allergy meds would be gone, cough meds, painkillers, sleeping meds...hell even caffeine should be taken off the market because it doesn't permanently make it so you don't have to sleep it just helps keep you awake for a bit. Even the most popular anti-anxiety, Xanax, doesn't cure anxiety...is also highly addictive...can also lead to a whole host of other things...it's used to deal with either severe anxiety (while you undergo treatment) or acute anxiety in one-off moments like before a stressful procedure or to stop a panic attack.

What an absolutely fucking ridiculous standard to hold something to. Fuck the entire anti weed lobby forever.
