Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

I assume they are elected by parliament, not by general election. Not an uncommon practice.
It's the National Assembly that elected him. It's like a Parliament, but there are no Executive or Judicial branches that are independent from it.
The Assembly seats 500. A unanimous vote still shows that people are afraid to cross the leader. Like Republicans with Trump, only there are no Democrats. There are a handful of "Independents," with the vast, vast majority being Vietnamese Communist Party members.
Yes that's generally how democracies are supposed to work. After filtering out the unqualified candidates there should only be one obvious choice.

"BEST" isn't some kind of universally defined state of being. What's "BEST" is completely fucking subjective and SHOULD be determined by a network of experts or peers, as that's likely how your are determining what's BEST for you.

Wow. Every single resource available that can determine who the "BEST" plumber is comes from a collection of unique inputs from others that have a shared experience of using that plumber. All whose collected perspectives on Google reviews let a sentient jar of mayonnaise like yourself determine who the BEST plumber is.
Whats BEST is completely subjective at best, and not easily determined by anyone but a panel of experts which you clearly use without noticing on a near daily basis.
At worst, BEST is an ever changing non-existing state that can never be determined without other fixed inputs.

ARE BOTH THE "BEST" DEPENDING ON HOW THAT QUESTION IS ASKED?

A) No, No one has ever stated the number of arrests or executions are a state secret. It's public information. There are actually few things that are 'state secrets' (which isn't a term used by the CPC or NPC); convictions which are public information are not one of them. For obvious reasons. I don't know where you even got confused here, because as far as I know even the most deranged RFA posts only suggest secret arrests as 'off books' arrests which are left off of the public record that all chinese citizens have access to. Like you are outdoing the CIA outlet in your delusional claims here little buddy.
B) The National Endowment of Democracy, an NGO formed by 'former' CIA collaborators, funded by an act of congress after a hearing with the then CIA director, and who has largely taken all public roles from the CIA since the Reagan administration (especially after Iran-Contra spoiled the CIA internationally) is an NGO that primarily funds pro israeli, pro US, anti communist, anti US enemy propaganda (in that order) internationally and domestically, allowing CIA operations to happen on US soil even before neutrality rules and domestic intelligence restrictions were officially removed in the 1990s and 2010s respectively.
Asking for a source that is not literally US state propaganda in order to verify your claims seems like it would be fair game.
