Sure, but does that invalidate the point?
By actively supporting those who also commit atrocities, for a pay cheque, when he's already wealthy? It doesn't invalidate the point, no, but it certainly adds a degree of illegitimacy to his proselytising by way of hypocrisy.
There are many who have made similar statements, without backing human rights abusing regimes. People will defend him because they like him, because he's made them laugh. That's a rather shallow reason to defend him though, don't you think?
Why spread the words of a rich asshole when hundreds have said the same thing before him? We can use their words instead of this arsehole's.
Yeah I used to think he was coming around but taking Saudi money just exposes him as being devoid of any principles.
