i think this is prob a stupid question for me to ask, but i wonder.

like, i consider myself to be on the ace spectrum because i don’t feel much sexual attraction. i can only feel sexual attraction towards certain people, and only if they do certain things.

for example, i’m kinda into sleeping beauty stuff, embarrassingly, which is why im posting on an alt. i can only really get sexually attracted to someone if they’re sleeping and only if they consent to me being aroused/cuddling them.

besides that, i can only really feel genuine sexual attraction towards people im already dating. and even then, they have to be sexually attracted to me first or be a horny/sexual person. with most people, who arent, i dont get sexually attracted to them and they have to be my partner.

can i still be ace?

Honestly I'm a guy so my experience won't be identical but I'm very similar as far as sexual attraction goes and I consider myself ace. Another term that you may find fits you better may also be demisexual. Personally my stance is that nobody can tell you what you are. If you find either term useful to to describe yourself then that term is for you. Also remember that sometimes things change over time sometimes your identity or your understanding of it will change over time and that is fine too.

I used to identify as demisexual myself but I'm not sure if it personally fits me anymore. I think I'm really just ace but not sex repulsed. Like I don't feel like I actually feel sexual attraction but rather I just crave intimacy and sex is one way to acheive that.
