You see it turns out you can have more than 1 thought in your head at once. Trump can be a fascist who materially supports a genocide and the democrat party can also be materially supporting a genocide. Look at how little they've done to stop the Iran war. Why do you think that is?

The only way to "punish" the Democrats at the time this post was written was to allow Trump to be elected. The OP was advocating that Americans attempt to stop a genocide by performing an action that would make the genocide worse. There were only two candidates in the race with even the remotest chance of winning: Harris and Trump. If the poster hoped Harris would lose then she hoped Trump would win.
Which is absurd. Centrists don't see a continuation of their only policy as a loss. They see it as an opportunity to blame the left and nothing else.
Ah, the old false narrative of binary choice. Fun fact: You can vote for anyone, even if they're not displayed (via write-in). Yeah, statistically anyone other than the anointed two will probably lose, unless enough people make the same decision, which actually does exist as a possibility because the two parties did not write the rules of reality, they just influenced things in their favor.
But of course, the Democrats can never fail, they can only be failed. Republicans fear their constituents, democrats hate theirs.
