I mean this article isn't really about specific industries requiring electricity but more about the general state of the system and how it's an ongoing struggle to keep up with demand and that there are growing waiting lists. I feel like you're making a big fuss over nothing.
Also it seems like in your research you failed to notice the NOS is a public organisation and has no shareholders. Not everything is a conspiracy...
