Yet unlike the PlayStation hardware, they spent absolutely nothing on hardware research and development.
So the only cost is what they may have spent to have studios develop PC ports. Even then it's minimal compared to the past with all the console hardware being x86 based and effectively just semi-custom PC hardware to begin with.
