Anyone who's ever been addicted to anything is very aware of this. I feel like this was made by and for people who has never been addicted or had any real experiences of it via others in their lives. I remember asking to borrow $4 for snus from my sister a couple of years ago and she just said "no, I'm not gonna help feed your addiction, just stop using it". She still lives in a major bubble of never having even thought about addiction more than that it's bad and people who are addicts are bad.

But she wasn't wrong. Enabling addiction is wrong.

And it's good to inform people who haven't experienced addiction. For instance, the last time I fell off the wagon my wife was pissed because I made the decision to buy alcohol, which is valid to think if you've never experienced it. (Although she was really just mad because I hid it)
