Fucking hell, at least the Krauts acknowledge their own crimes even if they mostly use them to whitewash Israel's current crimes

Also michael-laugh at this guy going PLEASE PRESENT ME THE EVIDENCE FOR MASS KILLINGS at Chinese people schooling his ass in the replies

You also have some Japanese dude going "but muh cultural revolution" and "but muh tiny man square" dean-frown

I think I'm just gonna close this tab blob-no-thoughts

the Nanking massacre is a real tragedy covered up by Japanese propaganda and truthfully portrayed by the western education system while the Chinese apologetics about the Tianmen square massacre not being real are totally true and believable and the western education system is lying about it

Bruh how's that cognitive dissonance hitting?

Here are two western journalists attesting to there being no deaths in the square. Here's a third.

Here is an article from the Vancouver Sun attesting to CIA involvement in the protests.

Here is a collection of photos of Chinese soldiers who were burned, beaten, and lynched by the "peaceful" protestors, and of protestors stealing guns and other military equipment. (TW for burned and hanged bodies, people with injuries)

Here is one of the student leaders admitting that the incitement of violence was the goal.

Here is a video of the famous "tank guy" leaving unharmed, contrasted with what happens to real peaceful protestors in the United States.

Here is news coverage from the incident, showing a distinct lack of shooting or bodies.

Damn what a surprise, they didn’t reply.

[–] flying_sheep@lemmy.ml -2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I don't have a counter propaganda stash lying around for every conspiracy myth I encounter in the wild. Sorry for not caring enough I guess.

[–] fannin@hexbear.net 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Conspiracy myth is your dismissal despite several links you don’t bother to dispute. Real question, do you consider yourself by default correct?

I don’t get it then. Why not wait to respond till you actually have a rebuttal if you don’t think you’re by default correct?

[–] flying_sheep@lemmy.ml 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Because I already got a “wow he didn't respond so owned” reaction.

Congratulations, you found the propaganda. So the parents of the victims are “paid actors” or do you buy into some other Alex Jones type denial? And the party members calling it the “biggest mistake” the party ever made are doing that for funsies?

Also good job copy pasting, I didn't say that the US doesn't suppress protests, so no need to include a “rebuttal” to that. I'm on your side, that's why I care when you fall for propaganda.

There are no good guy nation states.

[–] fannin@hexbear.net 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The parents of the victims by a vast majority echo the account of the Chinese government. No violence in the square, lots of violence outside it, most victims were unarmed PLA. So are we listening to the parents of victims or aren’t we?

A link to a website. Very persuasive. Definitely moreso than the countless actual interviews.

[–] bunnossin@hexbear.net 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

This doesn't work if you don't have the interviews I'm afraid.

[–] fannin@hexbear.net 2 points 1 month ago

Then go read the actual unvarnished interviews! Christ!

[–] bunnossin@hexbear.net 2 points 1 month ago

If you actually read the articles you would know I'm not claiming there were no deaths on June 4th.
