Community Rules:
~ 1. No bigotry. Hating someone off of their race, culture, creed, sexuality, or identity is not remotely acceptable. Mistakes can happen but do your best to respect others.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person. This includes speculating about someones sexuality, no matter how "obvious" it may be.
~ 4. Keep it LGBTQ+ related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love posts but 3-4 in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon' and fuck over our artist friends.

No, one side has been trying to explain 1+1 equals 2. The other keeps shouting about the DOW being at 50.000 and aliens are demons.
They are not equal. Like.. At all.
The left doesn't listen, it dictates.
Because you do not want to hear, does not mean the left is wrong.
And yes in that case, telling you the facts sounds like dictation.
Because the left claims something is a fact, does not make it a fact.
Ah! but that's the fun part: Facts don't care about your politics... That's why they are facts. But you are correct if you feel facts seem to always side with the left..
They are facts because they don't care? That makes just as much sense as them not caring about feelings. Facts don't have cares.
What is not to understand? Facts don't care about all kinds of things, you or my politics, our feelings, etc, etc. They have always existed just waiting until we understood them.
And again, the left tends to base their politics on them. Which is why it seems to rightwingers that facts always seem to "lean to the left" (It's part of why they never seem to like experts, they also always "lean left"). But it's just because progressive politics tend to base their reasoning on logics, facts and therefore: truth.
Basing your world view, morals and laws on a religion or your feelings (Maga) usually leads to nonsensical outcomes. Just like we are seeing now in the US, Israel, Iran, etc...
Are you actually arguing the left doesn't feel their way to their beleifs? You have an odd perception of how the left politics.
No no, merely that most educated (fact based) people tend to lean left because of what they know to be true.
