Apparently, this is enough rice to feed Cuba for half a year.

6 months is a bit much, maybe that's assuming they will not go through it too quickly i.e. that people will not be eating rice for breakfast lunch and dinner. If they did though it would last well over a month for every person on the island, including the newborns (see my other comment for the math)
