Cute, but if realistic probably a good argument for ordering books on the internet.
If I looked online for the local independent book store's hours and made my way down there only to see this sign and locked doors? I'd be pretty upset and would consider different means to get my novel fix.
Or maybe just go check Buds Bar? Seems like a small community. As someone who hates ordering online I'd much rather hunt a guy down to buy from his shop than ever give money to scamazon
Pretty low bar. That's why we have Amazon now. Just have a chuckle, maybe check Buds Bar and the next time you're free call ahead. Its not that much of an inconvenience.
Eh, there is so much other stuff around this particular book store that I doubt you'd be disappointed if you went down there and it was closed. Also, this is not a typical book store. It has ancient, rare books, vintage books in all sorts of languages, and just all sorts of neat stuff you would probably never think to actually "search" for. It's not like a books-a-million or a library even. It's a totally unique experience you really can't get online.
