There’s a whole ocean of sea creatures to feed body parts to for free. I don’t think they’d be using it for that.

Also, a strong base is generally better than an acid for getting rid of biological material (or combine them - use a base then wash and soak any remaining solids in an acid).

Why yes, I do suspect I'm on a list (or several), why do you ask?

there's tons of stories of bodies washing up on shores after being adrift for some time, that might not be reliable for disposal of evidence.

He had a whole damn island though, a small crematorium probably would have been sufficient.

It’s probably a pain tho because you cant have any bones or things washing ashore and such. Why take a chance?

Do bones float? I’m not sure if that would be an issue.

Anyway, I don’t share a mindset with these people, so I don’t know anything for sure.

Put it in a degradable bag with some stones, preferably throw it somewhere with a strong current. Source: watched some Dexter

Or open the abdomen. That way the gas doesn't make the body float.

I think I've seen that explanation in a documentary... but I think it would be worth trying that on the people that went to that island as clients.

Why not just use a metal shredder, and fertilize the ground with them?

[–] bufalo1973@piefed.social 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

That can work too. But instead of fertilizing the ground, being in an island, is throwing it to the sea.

or just dig hole and dump lye on the body there are all manner of creative ways to dispose of a body
