The word from commentators on the war in Ukraine is that Ukraine has successfully thwarted Russian attempts at a spring offensive.
The numbers today are pretty extreme, 8 tanks is probably about ½ a month of supplies of tanks.
1360 personnel is also completely unsustainable for Russia now, because they are running out of money, and the states that pay the hiring bonuses cannot afford it anymore. So hiring new soldiers is becoming ever more difficult for Russia.
Russia is out of money, and with few options to borrow, their economy is basically toast. Even the higher oil prices isn't enough to save the Russian economy, as Ukraine has destroyed enough of the Russian oil infrastructure to reduce Russian oil exports 40%.
