I hope they're next. Baffling people, the few among them that could hypothetically deserve to live someday are deeply confused + useless. Escape Reddit & start posting #different. Kill the Redditor in your mind.

Personally I view their community benefits as replacable. There are historical demonstrations of that.

It's a shame you got banned, because I'm genuinely curious where you think this has gone well. I think religion can become outmoded, but substituting it has historically not been great afaik.

That's funny from people who put stock in organizations modeled after Christian charity and think passing around the same musty $20 bills is solidarity. You don't think there is any way to provide the community benefits like redistributing social capital, logistics for sharing food, providing shared interests & activities, rites of passage, festivals, regular meetings, health and hygiene or behavioral guidelines, BANKING (lmao), food storage, education, literacy, supporting people in grief, libraries & community history, and CONCERTS can be provided without religion? Or what did you think I was saying religions do? Why do you reckon I think the reluctant in Zionist families continue to use organizations financially operated by the Fourth Reich, just to be cackling and evil? It's just pretty convenient, [none/use name].

I don't see why you're so inclined to spout dogshit diversionary arguments. I was genuinely asking for historical examples.

It should be pretty easy to find examples of those roles being supplanted historically, or even try your local mall. Pretty rude to ask for a history lesson at this point. I'll stick to normal book-reading standards, thanks.

You can't find any examples of religion's role in banking being displaced. You can't find one example

This is such a ridiculous argument. When religion is the dominant force in a society, it takes up almost every function. A society later having a secularized version of a given function does not mean that religion as a whole has been overturned.

You cannot imagine living without your present day equivalent of the temple granary.

I'm an atheist, the only religion in my life is the worship of Mammon that hangs over all of America like a pall. You keep throwing out speculation on my personal life and so on but it's just "attack attack attack" grist for the mill, because the only tool in your "socialist" toolbox is this totally anti-social posturing.

Religion to me is a problem that needs to be solved, but you are not presenting any new information, for the same reason as I already explained in my last comment.

I hope at least some Hexbear sees this conversation and realizes that this is how they frequently come off with their "dunking" bullshit. Probably not though, just "their pathetic shit-flinging" and "our righteous dunking".

No "Hexbear" is capable of reading this thread in its entirety, let alone a book. The series of ignorant replies is evidence of that. Thorough!
