3 articles later and I’m no closer to knowing why they were in Syria. Not bashing anyone other than the people hosting 10,000 goddamn AI written articles and the search providers hoisting AI trash to the top of the search results.

Amina (name changed - ed.) is a Crimean Tatar, originally from Crimea. In 2014, she went to Syria with her four children. Her husband had been living there for some time. What exactly he was doing, he says, he does not know. She also did not know about the war in this country since 2011.

"I got to Syria out of my own stupidity, one might say. Every person makes mistakes and each of us is looking for a beautiful life, I made a bad choice and left. I ran after my husband. He treated me very carefully, I loved him very much, so I followed him. I regretted it a lot, it was very difficult for me," says Amina already on the way, in the car.
