It's wild and wet out there. Not sure where little dude goes in bad weather because it's not home. I bought bedding straw to put in the round plastic bin I have and a tarp for now. Hopefully set up a dry area tomorrow

If he's anything like our past cats, to the nearest place with an open fire that feeds him treats.

That's incredibly kind of you :)

I'm doing too much but have been getting genuinely anxious over this cat.

I understand to a degree. You've changed their life ❤️

How do you know he is not going home? I think you mentioned he has owners? He might be ok and in shelter.

It was raining and when it slowed to a drizzle he went past in all the wet. At night. (My council has a cat curfew.) There’s also a flattened area in a nook under the eaves which he may be using as shelter.

Afaik he’s “owned” but there’s a lot of owners who let them live as outside cats and do jackshit to care for them. And it has happened before that a previous cat was suddenly coming to me much more because his owner had moved away leaving him behind :(

You are a kind human to help him.

Aw puss will be alright. They're tough little guys, true survivors. I'm sure he'll be rapt with the straw :3

If he even comes back into the area... I've been changing the spot a lot which cats hate. And the tarp is rustling a lot which could be offputting
