Negligence is a failure to exercise reasonable care. If you set up your corporate controls in a way where negligence is expected then that’s not just negligence. The way this is going Meta will designate a mid-level patsy to take the blame while the decision makers adjust those controls slightly without intending for anything to change.

It seems like they’re being charged with intent to harm, not just failure to exercise reasonable care, but I am not a law man
