Explain to me how your market is being "flooded".
Oh you've really been living under a rock. Well heres a fun game that the CBC made that shows he we tripled the immigration rate:

Oh jeez that is tragic, damn, it is too bad that Canada is probably the most land starved nation on earth. No space. Nope, sorry all fullllllllll up there!
It also sucks that you can't let any more immigrants in because when you have a problem as a nation and you pool more enterprising minds together to solve it actually it gets harder to solve because more new helpful people undermine the other helpful people, that is how people work. This is a serious cult I am part of and it is very scientific okay?
Also, are you of indigenous descent?
The problem with Canada is the NIMBY and zoning laws that prevent density generally. Its slow to build, except in places like Alberta which are actually speeding things up. We have some of the highest housing prices globally and the most restrictive zoning laws.
As far as indigenous people I'm not sure your point, we were all born here and we all owe our standard of living to modern technology produced globally, as rent seekers in Canada attempt to pull up the ladder behind them. Is it a gate keeping comment of some kind, and are indigenous people not affected by housing shortages?
