What are they chambered in? My Brother in law has a ww2 pre-ban Thompson and it’s an absolute riot to shoot. I firmly stand by the fact that even the most anti-gun person would have a blast shooting a Thompson. That little vertical grip is interesting if it’s effective at countering the barrel rise.

The Soviets gave submachine guns to the KMT and later the Communists, and the PRC set up its own production of the PPSh-41 and PPS-43, so they already had experience with that caliber. Although I'm not sure if these particular guns were made during the war with Japan or afterwards
