As someone who was a teenager when home computers with Internet were starting to get popular, I can tell you something similar occurred and we semi fixed it. So I'm hopeful for that too.
Popups.
They would be all over even if you weren't on the browser.
It could make the computer unusable.
But then ad blockers came out. And virus protector software.
And it's true that the advertising-virus of the internet mutated.
But then we got u blocker .
And I think there is a demand for better blocking and I'm hoping someone out there finds solutions.
You telling me you didn’t want another browser toolbar?
Omg how did I forget about those. ?
I must have blocked it out from the trauma.
