Your statement implies that trump has ever had a non-self-interested reason for doing anything. Someone who believes that cannot be reasoned with. It seems like you've been asleep for 10 years.

I'm afraid you're living in a bubble. This is not a good stance when talking with people. If you know better than I do, you can explain.
Saying that Trump never did anything but for his own interest is an oversimplification which I could only attribute to the strong polarization of opinions in the US. However, I don't know much about this and I may be wrong on whether it comes from polarization or some other cause.
He was after all elected twice as president, some people even tried to topple the government when he lost the elections. He clearly did something those people liked.
I won't participate in this farce anymore, but I will be assuming anything you say from now on is from the standpoint of helping trump propaganda wise
