Elizabeth Adela Forbes (1859 – 1912) was a Canadian painter who was primarily active in the UK. She often featured children in her paintings and School Is Out (painted in Newlyn) is one of her most popular works. She was friends with the artists James Abbott McNeill Whistler and Walter Sickert, both of whom influenced her work. Her etchings in particular are said to show the influence of Whistler.

Hmmm, I only played a bit of Disco Elysium before deciding it's not my kind of game. I think I got as far as needing to talk to the union boss, not knowing how. Glad to hear though the main character might have gotten out of the bad part of town you start in. Am I assuming correctly about that?

I was referring more to the art style and use of light. The setting in the game doesn’t quite get this twee.
