These same people will say "don't let perfect be the enemy of good" when asking you to support the people who bombed Gaza to rubble. A LOT of Ukraine flag bio posting in there as well. People saying Ukraine is the real perfect victim cause their government has never hurt anyone. Yeah 8 years of bombing schools and arming literal nazis was just nothing, just epic wholesome shit. They want to pretend to be anti-fascist cause they watched a show, but they will worship actual fascists in a second

I said at the time that the choice to make the Ghor French-coded belied the fact that they couldn't imagine making audiences empathize with "imperfect" victims or even minority coded victims.

It is a dead-end, not radicalism or a call to action. These people jack off to "I have friends everywhere" signs cause they recognize a fellow consumer, but they will not recognize the legitimacy of states opposing the west.

These people see the bombing Gaza went through while official death tolls were in the 30,000 range after a year of intense bombing, which was certainly understated, and they also believe that the Iranian government killed 30,000 protestors in the matter of a month without evidence of any such bombing or violence on a mass scale.

These motherfuckers were claiming Iran killed 20,000 protestors in a single day when Khamenei was killed.

Was actually blindsided with this narrative, not only by how fucking ridiculous it is, but by how I hadn't seen any buildup of the story - to me it just appeared fully formed from the brow of the US propaganda machine like Athena

Not that reason would ever work on these types of ppl but that's a lot of bodies, how would that even work logistically? How many people could the Nazis exterminate per day with their industrially-sized human slaughterhouses? Always the most absurd claims for the violence they are about to commit (babies in ovens, pregnant women, 20,000 ppl in one day, etc etc).
