Perhaps she should've thought about that when she was cheerleading the crowd of neocons who are perpetrating all of this.

WTH has gotten into her. Did someone hit her with a "reasonable" stick or something?

[–] buddascrayon@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

One must remember that this woman is an actual anti-semite and truly believes that the destruction of Israel will begin the apocalypse that will send all the good little Christians to heaven instantaneously.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago

That would be awesome, well not the apocalypse part, but it might be worth it. I'll give it a think.

[–] Regrettable_incident@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

She's probably trying to position herself for a leadership role after maga explodes in a great concussion of lies and flying turds.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 2 points 15 hours ago

That's horrifying.

She had a pretty big falling out with the president, and I'm actually surprised she followed through on her announcement to resign from Congress.

IIRC it's been the tug of war rope meme a few times with her in the later half of last year.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 0 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

I think it was because she stayed just long enough to get some kind of pension from Congress.

[–] papertowels@mander.xyz 1 points 14 hours ago

I wish more politicians would step down after that duration in Congress.

She's changing her views a bit, but it took her family being personally impacted by the GOP healthcare changes and for Trump to condemn her questioning them surrounding said healthcare changes. She's making attempts to try to redeem herself I think. If she continues publicly expressing views like this, I'll commend her for the bravery it takes in admitting, "I was wrong," so long as all of this shit doesn't evolve into a political campaign.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 2 points 15 hours ago

Yeah, can't trust her as far as I can throw her and she looks pretty heavy.

I'm just glad I can use the abbreviation for Magic the Gathering again

There’s a lot of fracturing and internecine warfare in MAGA land. You can see some of this in Alex Jones struggling to figure out whether he’s still cool with Bannon or not.

There’s always been a split between the Nazi wing and the Christian Nationalists who support Israel because of their apocalyptic fantasies. You’ve also got the ones who only care about abortion, and the ones with Q and adjacent conspiracy theories. It’s an uneasy alliance.

MTG is a Q type. Anti semitism is part of it, but it’s more about the insane conspiracy theory world she lives in. She’s not being “reasonable” she just thinks Trump is on the evil Jewish laser team.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago

Either way she's, and I can't believe in saying this, sound reasonable. (shudder)

[–] TheSeveralJourneysOfReemus@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (2 children)

She's smelling the distrust around Trump (and his Epstein connection) and is now trying to distance herself from the cesspit that she built - maga. I would not trust this person. Remember what she was during 2020-2023. Do not forget.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago

Oh, I don't intend to support her in any way, I was just wondering if she had a reverse Fedderman or something.

[–] frog_brawler@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

She's trying to pull one of these... don't trust her, but let her cook if it's not just some pre-campaign.

[–] cmhe@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

She is an antisemite, so she is against Israel because she is against the Jews. Other people are against Israel because of their governments genocidic actions. They are not the same.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago

Yes but MAGA has no problem whatsoever from what I've seen...being both for something and against it at the same time.

[–] Atomic@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago (2 children)

She's doing what she's always done. And that is too turn the sails before the wind.

The wind is changing direction. And so is she.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago

That almost sounds intelligent.

[–] minkymunkey_7_7@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Nope, the Grift simply takes a pivot while reading the gullible market. The Grift must always go on. The market is realizing that Trump is turning into a liability and his best grifting conman days are behind him. As soon as Vance comes onto the main scene it will realign with new conspiracies and views.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

That sounds more realistic.

[–] JcbAzPx@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Basically, she found out the rest of her party wasn't actually on board with her personal brand of crazy. The shock of it seems to have redirected her a bit.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago

That sounds reasonable.

[–] C4551E@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

she was a True Believer but finally woke up. still a shit person, but realized she was being lied to.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

I find that difficult to believe. Does a person who thinks Jews want to surreptitiously start forest fires by putting millions of dollars of high powered lasers into orbit instead of paying a nut job with a match, ever "wake up?" We're taking about the same lunatic who thinks "they" can control the weather and sent a hurricane only through red districts. The wacko that literally, as a grown ass woman, followed a teenage shooting victim down the street yelling at him for being an actor and faking it.

I think it's more plausible that she was hit in the head or something.
