United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Cyprus isn't controlled by the British government so I'm not quite sure what you're talking about.
Huh? Google is free. There’s british soil on the ex-colony which the the Prime Minister of the UK is using to put the people of the island in danger
Yes it is, it's a shame you didn't use it.
There's a UK military base there that was attacked. His decision to allow the US to launch attacks from UK military bases in general is stupid in my opinion, but the attack against this military installation happened anyway, so it's not actually his fault.
Thanks, that explains why you had so much trouble understanding what’s going on, you’re speaking to a strawman. Please, try reading what you replied to. The military base he used to assist genocide in occupied Palestine endangered the island by making it a valid target. Escalating the war by opening it up to daddy Trump endangers it further. Let me know if there’s any specific words you’re struggling with and we can take it from there
