An excellent suggestion was made to concentrate Iran conversation and posting to this mega thread. Please keep as much as you can here so that the main feed isn't overburdened by Iran news.

Breaking the nuclear taboo on a country that's exhausted its ability to fight back seems like it would be buried somewhere in the Project 2025 fine print.

I mean, that's exactly what we did last time!

I'm sure he wants to, but I think everyone is telling him no. If we nuke Iran, Iran is free to nuke us. I'm not sure if they would. But if they do, we will likely see actual WWIII. Or at least the US' allies dogpiling Iran. I don't know if Iran has enough allies that would join the war.

Because if they did, a public test would have been done, and the US would not have invaded

The nuclear option is only possible in Iran because they don't have nukes, that's the whole point.

Don't count on US allies coming to save your ass.

You're fucking up everything and arguing to invade our lands. Then the gall to assume we'll help you do the same in other countries? Go fuck yourself. (Not aimed at you personally, don't worry, I'm sure you understand.)

Iran nuking US would be... interesting. Murica (the bad parts) would have a chance to see what they rain down on the rest of the world. Hurts differently when it's your own cities.

Do NOT pull us into your shitty mess. I would be tempted to cheer on the other side.
