Hi,

last year I bought two bamboo plants for my balcony. Both of them grew a lot last summer (some stalks shot up and there have been many new growths at the bottom). Now I'm wondering if I need to cut away some of the stalks because the bottom feels quite crowded.

Here are some pictures of the full plant. The plant is still quite young so I'm hesitant to cut away too much, but I can barely reach through the bottom stalks to clean away the dead leaves.

Any recommendations? The bamboo hasn't started growing yet

This isn't helpful at all, but here's a song from my first honeymoon.
