Killing Khamenei is the dumbest thing they could have done. Do they not understand he was like the pope for like 260 million Shia? Also he was the only thing holding back the creation of nuclear weapons.
Frankly I see the rational behind. Israel and the US can only win this war if Iran is destroyed quickly. They are unable to win a protracted conflict, therefore whatever decisions that are being made aren't going to be based on any longer term political consequences, instead bring based on what they view as the most destructive option at the current moment.
They need Iranian soceity to fold in on itself, and the easiest way they can think of that is by decapitation of their leadership. However, the last 20 hours have proven that this tactic was a failure, and that Iran has the capacity to continue operating even under such a circumstance.
I think it's fair to say that with this last desperate lasting out, the imperialists have essentially signed their death warrant for influence in West Asia.
Last year's war was 12 days long but today after less than 24 hours the BBC and most idiots are claiming that Iran has already lost. I mean bro their leader is dead bro, the moolar in chief is gone brah, it's over man, Israel has won................. I just saw Nick Fuentes on Rumble, he had 60k live viewers and he's making ridiculous claims. He's saying stuff like Iran can't retaliate they're already done for, and US power in unmatched. Blah blah. Iran is already out of missiles etc etc.
Has nobody paid attention to the last day of bombings against US assets coordinated without Khamenei? I swear people just don't engage with observable reality.
Iranian strategy isn't particularly complicated or secret. Use cheaper to overwhelm and deplete the enemy defenses before moving onto to using their more advanced arsenal to land more devastating strikes.

It's almost like the US thrives on pissing off as many people as possible and creating generations of unrest.
Reminds me of a certain Austrian with a goofy mustache who did the exact same 80 years or so ago.
