I always appreciate the skill and devotion of something like this but there's something unsettling about watching a person play something amazing like this while displaying the emotion of an unplugged toaster that makes me need to stop watching it.
It's not the lack of emotion, its the deep focus. It takes just a little bit more to get that little bit more.
One of the best parts is at the very end, when she stops playing and that embarrassed "Oh my god, was that me?" smile washes over her face.
I want to preface this with the statement that I'm not even in the same solar system of talent as her but that being said, when I'm playing and get to a part that's technical, I feel like I'm on a roller coaster ride which makes it impossible to keep the smile off my face.
Perhaps at that speed and skill, it just requires a level of detachment that just seems creepy to me since I've never achieved something like that.
