Well, you're missing the real points.
So I suppose the second point has become a bit arguable in the past few years, although there have always been lame centrist Democrats, too. But remember that 30+ years of Fox News and right-wing radio keeps pushing the Overton window, and even centrist positions become old right-wing positions.
But with those two points above, don't forget these points:
So in all the "Democrats are shit" conversation, don't forget that when it comes to the general elections - while we still have elections - get out and vote for the only fucking sane option, or shit gets worse, like all the people who believed propaganda about Kamala or who, let's say for the sake of argument, just really didn't like things about her. Well, do you like Trump better? Because if you stayed home and didn't vote for her by the time we got to the general election - you fucking helped elect Trump. And if you can't see that, you are part of the fucking problem.
So yes, let's fix our country: Eliminate oligarch power by whatever means is necessary, kick out both parties and reboot the system and/or find people who will agree not to take corporate money to run for office, slowly build up that majority until we can repeal Citizens United and other shitty legislation and pass things like universal health care and universal basic income and actually make the country take care of its citizens.
Or, alternatively, you can rail against the Democrats (who are, indeed, largely shitty), stay home, not vote, and you won't have to vote for much longer, as Trump promised.
