How dare you criticize Our Beloved DNC? Don't you know Democrats expect OBDNC (obediency)? Our Beloved Do Nothing Cowards are exactly what will save everyone, just send all your money & this time we'll finally stop Trump. But if you're not obedient & say anything bad about Democrats then we'll call you MAGA or a Russian bot.

Let's explain this using little words to make sure you understand.

  1. There are a lot of individuals on the internet who have different opinions. It is true that some people say those things, but certainly not all.
  2. The time to pick the candidate you want is in the primary. If you don't like any of the candidates, run for office or find someone to run for office because that's your shot at representation.
  3. When it comes to the general election, not voting for Democrats IS literally helping the fascists get elected. So that part of what "people are saying" is spot on.

Did you - assuming you are a US citizen - vote for Kamala in the last general election? If not, then your lack of voting for the only option to stop Trump means you help elect Trump. That's simple truth.

Did I like Kamala? Not particularly. As a progressive, very very few Democrats represent me. Most of them are centrists.

But you know what I like about Kamala? Not a fucking fascist.

So to anyone who didn't vote for her who had the opportunity: Part of the blood on Trump's hands also belongs on yours because you had the power to help stop his election and failed.

Does that mean I support the Democrats? Hardly. But as compared to supporting fascists, you bet your ass I do.
