... That's actually possible that it made your friend^2^ understand 3D. They would have manually turned the movie into a Wigglegram and I've read of people who finally 'got it' after seeing those.

That was my takeaway as well, but the idea of this bumbling, tall hippie slurredly repeating “I understand 3d” at a luminous picture of a shark just slew me
