I knew this would start eventually, but I can't help being shocked that we're here.
it is a shock, VUMC was the main hospital providing gender affirming surgeries for the entire region - people traveled from all over the midwest and southeast to go there; they employed some of the best surgeons imo as well, you would have to go to NYC, CA, or Thailand to get similar results AFAIK.
