Depends on the dose. A "whole bag" in some legal states equals 100mg. Which is a lot for most people, but everyone is different. If you know where to look, you can find ones with much higher dosage
Health Canada is extremely stupid with the potency limits on edibles. You basically have to buy from a Native reservation to get anything worth your time.
My shop didn't believe me about not being sensitive to edibles and gave me a big discount on a 1000mg chocolate bar if I ate it right there. Got home and a few hours later I fell asleep, slept for like 16 hours and woke up really groggy but never really did get high.
"I drank a few quarts of rum, straight up. Fell asleep 20 minutes later, slept for like 16 hours and woke up a bit thirsty but never really did get drunk."
Cool false equivalence
How is it false, pray tell?
First, because I stayed awake multiple hours with no effect other than drowsiness. That dose is enough to cause psychotic symptoms if it had be processed by my liver properly. The point is that eating cannabis largely doesn't effect me the way it does a normal user. I am not aware of people with a genetic predisposition to not processing alcohol, but with cannabis it is a common phenomena.
Secondly, because they a different chemicals and your comparison is bad.
But you aren't here to understand the difference, you're here to be a little prick and pick a fight because I made you feel bad somehow. "Pray tell"? Did I ruffle the feather in your fedora? Grow up.

They literally asked you to explain yourself after you made some vague comments. All this name calling and complaining about hurt feelings is likely just projecting on your part.
Lol no. First off, get that reefer madness bs out of your mind. Or try to argue it if you want but I've been arguing this for more than 20 years and have never seen a study with more than flimsy correlations.
Yeah some can have an anxious and stimulating effect, especially if it's a high thc low cbd strain.
But what you're describing there is the effect of weed, just like the effect for me to drink a bottle of rum by myself is also getting sleepy and sleeping for a long time.
It's just when you eat it, the cannabinoid profile of what ends in your blood is slightly different. You might want the check something called "hornesis" and/or hornesis.
Essentially with small doses you get different effects from a large dose. But also context really matters. Had you been a teenager and out with your m8s when you ate it, you wouldn't have gone "oh man I just need to sleep right here right now for 16 hours straight."
What you're imagining is that all cannabis is like alcohol, and while wine and beer or liquor might make you feel different and give different hangovers, it's to do with how much you got in your system and how fast, mostly. (There are ofc some byproducts as well which can result in more hangover if you're allergic etc.)
People use benzodiazepines to get a junkie fix, you know? And I can tell you from personal experience you can literally eat a whole package and not even necessarily fall asleep. (Benzos have incredibly high ld50 values, youd need to eat a literal bucket full to kill yourself with them alone)
But you aren't here to understand the difference, you're here to be a little prick a
I'm actually a massive prick, but very much in good faith. The difference between cannabis and caffeine is waaay smaller than cannabis and alcohol. It's not my fault you bought into the drug propaganda and expected to see lifelike My Little Ponies after eating a bit of weed.
So yeah, no false equivalence at all, unless you care to explain in more detail?
Like I said, you're just a prick.
