Maybe I'm tired and extra bad at comprehension but is this saying that telling people to get better at the game is ableist?
The amount of upbears suggests I'm missing something
Iirc the height of debacle was about that samurai souls game when the elitist pricks on youtube yelled really loud that not having difficulty options is cool and you should git gut you scrub and when pointed out some people cannot git gut because disability and having difficulty options cost devs nothing and even gets them more money because more accessibility means more sales, they doubled down and were iirc joined by devs of that game which made their already insufferable ego trips get pumped to astronomical heights.
I made this meme in like 2020ish, my intention was since I like Souls games I often see how the sweaty elitist tryhards talk about the games and usually they fling ablist slurs around pretty often, so I just wanted to make fun of them, it's kinda like the "when you put 100%ed every FromSoft game in your resume but you still don't get a job" meme
I think its more about the lack of accessibility options like a pause button in souls games
Ok makes sense. No pause is a silly artificial difficulty thing for sure
