When they suffer consequences and want sympathy or help. But even then it's never "I was a stupid asshole." It's always "I was lied to." Fuck them.

No they will never say it.

When the disaster that was the W. Bush Presidency ended I had coworkers who had pictures of Bush on their office wall for 8 years like he was their Dear Leader and it was fucking North Korea, claim they never supported him and they were really Libertarians.

They will never admit they were wrong. They will just get angry and attack whatever policy or solution the other party brings to the table.

Yeah, they all knew he was friends with Epstein in 2016, I wager between 60 an 80 million people will vote for whichever fuck the GOP runs in 2028 and they'll vote Republican straight down the ballot again this year as well.
